Itinerary

06h00: Car and guide VTVtours pick you up at the meeting point in the Old Quarter and Opera House area to depart for Ha Giang tour.  Rest, free breakfast at Kim Anh junction or on the highway.

Note: The car can pick you up at Kim Anh intersection (the beginning of the Hanoi - Lao Cai highway, 03km from Noi Bai airport, near the hotel area in Noi Bai at about 07:30 am).  Therefore, if customers fly to Noi Bai late, they may not book a hotel room near the airport to save time and save taxi costs to the Old Quarter.

11h00: Have lunch in Tan Yen town (Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang).

15h00: Arrive in Ha Giang city, take memory photos at Km0 of Ha Giang.

16h30: Stop at Quan Ba ​​Heaven Gate stop to take pictures of Co Tien Twin Mountain, also known as Quan Ba ​​Twin Mountain and panoramic view of Tam Son town from above.

17h30: Arrive Yen Minh, you check in the room to rest.

18:30: Have dinner.  Free evening.  Overnight in Yen Minh. 

06h00: Have breakfast and depart to admire the majestic beauty of Dong Van Stone Plateau Global Geopark.  Along the way you stop to visit:

Pho Cao with typical houses of the H'mong people by the stone fences around the house.

 Visit Sung La village to visit the ancient house of the H'mong with an earthen narrative - the place was used as a setting for filming the 2006 plastic film "The Story of Pao" by director Ngo Quang Hai, which was adapted from the story.  The short "The sound of lips behind the stone fence" by writer Do Bich Thuy has won 4 Golden Kite awards.  You stop to rest and take pictures of buckwheat flowers near the nine-slope slope.

 Palace of King Meo - Vuong Chinh Duc is located in a valley of Sa Phin commune, this is the richest and most powerful family in Chau Dong Van in the early 20th century.

 Visit the Old Lung Co Flagpole - the first place in the country, the point with the highest latitude on the map of Vietnam.

12:30: Have lunch at the restaurant.

Afternoon: Continue to visit:

Dong Van Old Quarter has existed for nearly a century.  You can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee at Old Quarter Café (own expense).

 Conquering the 16km long Ma Pi Leng pass connecting Dong Van with Meo Vac, is also the most beautiful section on the road named "Happiness Road".

 Take pictures with the majestic beauty of Tu San Alley (also known as Ma Pi Leng canyon or Nho Que river canyon) at an altitude of 1500m above sea level and an average depth of 800m - where the terrain is divided  the deepest part of Vietnam.

 Cruise on Nho Que River: Take a boat upstream Nho Que to Tu San Alley, the deepest canyon of Vietnam located on Nho Que River.

14h00: Stop to visit the sacred Doi Co Temple, located on the banks of the Lo River.

15h00: Arrive in Ha Giang city, take souvenir photos at Km0 of Ha Giang.

16h30: Stop at Quan Ba ​​Heaven Gate stop to take pictures of Co Tien Twin Mountain, also known as Quan Ba ​​Twin Mountain and panoramic view of Tam Son town from above.

17h30: Arrive Yen Minh, you check in the room to rest.

18:30: Have dinner.  Free evening.  Overnight in Yen Minh. 

06h00: Check out then have breakfast and get on the bus to depart for Cao Bang.  On the way you stop to take pictures with beautiful scenes on the way.

11h00: Lunch at Quang Uyen.  After lunch, you continue to get on the bus to Ban Gioc.  Afternoon visit:

Ban Gioc Waterfall, a waterfall with a height of 53m, divided into 3 floors is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia.  This is the 4th largest waterfall in the top 10 waterfalls in the world located on the border between the two countries.

Visit Nguom Ngao (Tiger cave), one of the most beautiful caves not only of Cao Bang but of the whole North.Visit Phuc Sen forging village with famous knife making in Quang Uyen.

18h30: Arrive in Cao Bang city.  Have dinner then return to the hotel to rest.  In the evening, you are free to visit and shop in the downtown market area, especially chestnuts.  Overnight in Cao Bang. 

06h00: Check out then have breakfast and get on the bus to depart for Pac Bo.

08h00: Arrive in Pac Bo, you visit Pac Bo historical relic site.  Visiting the residence and activities of President Ho Chi Minh during the resistance years from 1941 to 1945, the group took souvenir photos at Lenin Stream - Mount Mack, visited Coc Bo cave.

10:00: Leave Pac Bo to Ba Be.  On the way you see the passes with beautiful scenery of mountains and forests such as: Tai Ho Sin Pass, Cao Bac Pass, Khau Khang Pass, and Wind Pass.

12h00: Stop the car to rest and have lunch on the Wind Pass.

16h00: Arrive Ba Be, check in at the Tay's stilt house along Ba Be Lake.

18h00: Dinner and overnight in Ba Be.  In the evening, you can choose to have a cultural exchange, make a campfire or listen to the Then singing performance of the Tay people (expenses excluded). 

07h00: Have breakfast at the house on stilts, then relax and enjoy the view of the lake in the morning mist.  You are free to rest or walk around the lake before checking out to return to Hanoi.

08h00: You walk up to the wharf and get off the boat to visit Ba Be Lake while relaxing to admire the lake, free to take pictures and visit the following spots:

Fairy pond: Tien pond is located at the corner of Ba Be Lake, a small lake located in the middle of a mountain jutting above the lake.  Legend has it that in the past, the gods used to play chess here.

 An Ma Temple: The temple is located on a small mountain in the middle of the lake.  Legend has it that during the feudal wars of the Le - Mac dynasties, the generals of the Mac Dynasty lost the battle, ran to Puong Cave and died there.  Appreciating the loyal spirit, the people built a temple to worship the Mac family, but worried about being discovered by the Le army, they changed the name to An Ma Temple.  The two words "An Ma" in the Tay language mean "beautiful peaceful grave", the resting place of the loyalists of the Mac family.

 Widow Island - a lovely small island located right in the heart of the lake, associated with the formation of the lake.  The boat goes slowly around the island for you to take pictures.

11:30: Have lunch at the restaurant.  After lunch, you get on the bus back to Hanoi.

17h30: Back to Hanoi.  End program.  Goodbye and see you!

 Any service in the tour, if you do not use it, will not be refunded

 The tour guide has the right to rearrange the order of attractions to suit the conditions of each specific departure date, but still ensure all attractions in the program.

 In case there are 6 or less passengers on the departure day, the driver can act as a guide.  These are experienced drivers who know the route and local culture.

 As a mountain tour, often small cars, so it is recommended that you do not bring bulky, oversized and do not carry a lot of luggage.  Should bring backpacks instead of carrying hard suitcases.

 There are options to sleep at a homestay to increase the experience with the mountain tour.  It is recommended that you bring personal items to use when staying at the Homestay (if necessary).

 At the end of the tour, we will drop off guests at a single point, the Hanoi Opera House.  Please take a taxi to your hotel or accommodation by yourself.
